Hamburger

This is the last project I finished before the summer. It is also the last crocheted food project I have finished. I don't know if I'll be making any more crocheted food, but we'll see. Chances are that Odin would like some more. Anyway. It is, as most of my other projects, made out of Østlandsgarn from Nille, since this is the cheapest available yarn. It is made after the recipe from the book Tasty Crochet.

Finished

Now the fruit basket is finished. The basket it self have been drying off on the bathroom floor, and turned out really nice! My first tucked, fulled or walked(still don't know which word is the correct one) item!

Last nights work.

I'm a bad, bad girl. Lately I've started staying up at night crocheting and listening to an audiobook in stead of sleeping. Last night I made a Erlendmeyer flask and a Bring Spring bunny, as the picture show. I found both patterns at Ravelry, but linked to the external page, as not everyone(Although you really should!) are members of Ravelry. The picture also shows how terrible I am at embrodering my crocheted work. Poor bunny!. I had to give up the measurement markings on Erlend Meyer as it just never turned out good.

I also started making a Pygmy Poof in multicolored yarn, but I have not yet decided if I'm going to finish it, as the yarn I used is very thick. (Viking Naturgarn)

Mario Bedspread

This is the first project I'm going to show off. It is also my largest project ever. I used about two months, maybe more. It consists of 252 granny squares and I spent about 1200 NOK(ca 195 USD) on yarn. It was a gift for my boyfriend, who is a gamer, just like me. I got the idea around a month before his birthday and finished a month later, since I was to tired a lot of the time to work with it. He told me it was worth waiting for, though. It is large enough for a double bed, 150 cm in width.

I got the inspiration (And pattern schematics) from Ravelry, but the squares are just ordinary granny squares and can be varied to any square and size after your own wish and plan.

I must admit that I am rather proud of myself for finishing this project! It is enormous!
